Election Counting Moves to Temple Hall After Severe Storm Damages Polling Tents

A severe storm struck Chachoengsao on February 8, 2024, at 5:00 PM, immediately after polling stations closed. The storm hit Polling Unit 11 in Ward 1, located at Khwan Sa-at Temple, causing significant damage to election tents. Strong winds lifted tent poles, scattered furniture, and soaked voting materials. Election officials, with help from local residents and monks, quickly moved three ballot boxes into the temple's assembly hall.
