Urgent: Firefighters Rush to Control Blaze at Automotive Parts Factory in Suranari Industrial Zone
A fire erupted at 12:40 PM on January 31, 2024, at a factory located in the Suranari Industrial Zone on the Ratchasima-Chok Chai Road in Nong Raweang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The factory produces high-quality brake components for cars and motorcycles, including brake calipers and brake master cylinders. The fire occurred during the lunch break, with most employees out eating and only some staff remaining inside. The factory contained various production materials including rubber, thinner, and paint. Over 20 fire trucks from municipal and local government organizations attempted to extinguish the fire, initially struggling to control the intense blaze accompanied by loud explosions, possibly from thinner containers. After approximately 30 minutes, firefighters managed to limit the fire's spread. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Preliminary reports indicate no injuries or fatalities at this time.
