Lawyer Un Petitions Election Commission, Demands Constitutional Court Nullify Election, Threatens Legal Action Against 7 Election Commissioners

On February 11, 2024, at the Election Commission office, Phattraphong Suphaksorn (known as Lawyer Un from Buriram) submitted a complaint challenging the fairness of the February 8 general election. He described the election as the 'dirtiest ever', arguing that despite the high budget spent by the Election Commission, the results do not reflect the people's will. Phattraphong called for the Election Commission to refer the matter to the Constitutional Court to determine whether the election complied with constitutional standards and should be declared null and void. He announced plans to file criminal charges against all 7 Election Commissioners, claiming electoral misconduct and potential electronic vote manipulation. Lawyer Un also highlighted alleged evidence of irregularities, including discarded ballot papers and suspiciously uniform vote patterns across different regions.
