Live from Youth – Connecting Through One Language of Art
A significant artistic exhibition titled 'Art Speaks One Language' created a space for equality and diversity, bringing together independent artists and autistic artists, including Prang Wetchachiwa and Alec Chanakorn Pukasap from the Artstory by Autistic Thai network. The exhibition, held at the Narimit Post Office in Bang Rak, featured artists with hearing and visual impairments, aiming to transform differences into a powerful force of acceptance. The proceeds will support special art classrooms for children with developmental disabilities through the C.C.F. Foundation for Children and Youth, under the royal patronage of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Notable attendees included Abhisit Vejjajiva, leader of the Democrat Party, and Ek Pataradhanakit, CEO of Thai Post. The event highlighted unique artworks, including a painting by former Prime Minister Chuan Leekpai depicting a child on a sea gypsy mother's lap, alongside other significant pieces that celebrate diversity and artistic expression.
