Ambassadors from 17 Countries to Observe Referendum and Election from February 5-9

On February 6, 2024, at the Grand Center Point Prestige Hotel, representatives from the Election Commission, including Lert WirojKowattana, participated in an international observation activity for the simultaneous referendum and parliamentary election voting. Election Commission Secretary Sawaeng Boonmee welcomed diplomatic representatives and international organizations to explain the election and referendum processes. This is the 16th observation activity since 2001, designed to facilitate knowledge exchange and provide accurate understanding of the voting procedures. The event includes 44 participants from 17 countries and one international organization, representing various nations including Australia, Belarus, Brunei, Colombia, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, and others. The observers were divided into three groups: ASEAN members, countries with ongoing Election Commission cooperation, and other diplomatic missions.
