AOT Announces Q1 Financials with 4.6 Billion Baht Profit

Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) announced its first three months of fiscal year 2024 (October-December 2023) financial performance, with aviation revenue of 8,863.27 million baht, a slight increase of 0.67% from the previous year. Total revenue reached 17,332.42 million baht, with a net profit of 4,652.62 million baht. Across its six airports (Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Chiang Mai, Mae Fah Luang, Phuket, and Hat Yai), AOT recorded 208,281 total flights, a 1.82% increase from the previous year. International flights totaled 116,594, while domestic flights were 91,687. Passenger traffic reached 34.47 million, a 2.5% increase, with 20.92 million international and 13.55 million domestic passengers. AOT is actively developing infrastructure and exploring new revenue streams, including commercial area development, electric vehicle charging stations, and potential investments in hotels and mixed-use projects. The company expects continued growth in tourism and flight frequencies in the coming months.
