TAT Launches 'EAT THE EAST: THE GRAND ROAD TRIP' Campaign
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has partnered with the Thailand Gastronomy Network, KTC Credit Card, Sixt Rent a Car, and other travel partners to launch the 'EAT THE EAST: THE GRAND ROAD TRIP' campaign. The initiative aims to elevate tourism in the Eastern region through a Drive Tourism model that transforms road trips into economic value-creating experiences. The campaign covers 9 Eastern provinces: Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, and Samut Prakan. Designed around the 'Gastronomad Lifestyle' concept, the campaign focuses on food experiences that emphasize 'taste' over 'restaurants', encouraging travelers to explore local culinary identities and support local economies through immersive food tourism.
