Pheu Thai Party Loses Ground in 5 Provinces, Defeated by Orange, Blue, and Green Parties

In the 2023 elections, Pheu Thai Party suffered major setbacks in 5 provinces: Nan, Phrae, Sukhothai, Uttaradit, and Nong Bua Lamphu. As of February 8th, 2024, unofficial vote counts from the Election Commission website revealed the party lost all seats in multiple constituencies. In Nan province, the party lost all three seats, with candidates from People's Party and Kla Party winning. Similar patterns emerged in Phrae, where Bhumjaithai Party candidates secured victories in most constituencies. Sukhothai saw partial losses, with Pheu Thai retaining some seats but losing others to competing parties.
