Behind the Scenes - 'Wer' Challenges the New '7 Brave Warriors'
In an exclusive interview, Wer Oliver Beaver discusses the challenges and vision behind the new '7 Brave Warriors' TV series. As both producer and director, he emphasizes that this is not a remake but a continuation of the legendary franchise, using the original seven names as code names for a new generation of heroes.
Carefully selecting the cast, Wer chose Pae Aruck as the team leader, alongside six other male actors including Bew Nattapon, Chap Warakorn, Ott Chakrit, Noh Thanakorn, Tan Buranrat, and newcomer Guy Kantamest. His approach was to allow the actors creative freedom within the script's framework, encouraging them to break away from their typical leading roles.
The biggest challenge, according to Wer, was creating comedy within the action series while respecting the legacy of the original '7 Brave Warriors'. He stressed the importance of honoring the feelings of long-time fans and maintaining the spirit of the original series.
The series' core message is that everyone can be a hero, regardless of fame or position. By giving each character depth and allowing spontaneous comedic moments, Wer hopes to create a fresh take on the beloved franchise.
