Home Building Association Sets Up Regional Board to Expand Nationwide Presence
The Home Business Association (HBA) is launching a new strategy for 2026 by creating a Regional Board and expanding its reach across Thailand. HBA President Anankorn Amonravadee revealed the organization's strategic plan focused on three key factors: Brand Awareness (B), Quality (Q), and Organizational Development (O).
Key highlights of the strategy include:
1. Digital Communication Transformation: Revamping the website and creating 10-second video content to engage younger generations and showcase the difference between HBA member services and standard contractors.
2. Quality Development: Focusing on human resource development using a "football team" model, which includes:
- Leadership development for MD/CEOs
- Sales team training as home consultants
- Construction team quality control
- Back office efficiency and cost management
3. Regional Expansion: The association will officially establish Regional Committees, starting with pilot programs in the Northeast and Southern regions. This includes organizing traveling fairs and home construction events to improve communication with consumers nationwide.
Market Analysis:
- 2025 home construction market value estimated at 190,134 million baht
- 11% decline compared to the previous year
- Provinces now dominate with 77% market share
- Primary factors include economic slowdown and household debt challenges
The goal is to provide reliable, high-quality home construction services and protect consumers from substandard contractors.
