Anuthon Closes Campaign to Help 'Ek Sailai' Seek Votes for Bhumjaithai Party
On February 7, Anuthon Chanvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, visited the AC Market in Sailai to support Eakaphop Luangprasert, a Bangkok MP candidate. He walked around talking to merchants and traders, asking about their business conditions. Some stores had half-placed posters, and Anuthon told vendors, 'Don't remove the posters yet, I'll be back,' promising to continue the project if forming a government. During his departure from the market, Anuthon's campaign convoy nearly collided with the People's Party campaign vehicle led by Pita Limjaroenrat. The two political leaders did not meet during this encounter.
