China Invites Thailand's U-23 Football Team for Four-Nation Warm-Up Tournament

Thailand's U-23 national football team has accepted an invitation to participate in a special four-nation football tournament in Xi'an, China this March. The Chinese Football Association is organizing the event to prepare for the 20th Asian Games, which will be held from September 19 to October 4, 2026, in Nagoya, Japan. China has invited the U-23 teams from Thailand, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan, along with China's own U-23 team that recently finished as runners-up in the Asian U-23 Football Championship. Currently, Thailand is the only team to have officially confirmed their participation, while Uzbekistan has already sent its U-19, U-17, and U-16 teams to train in China as part of developing football cooperation between the two countries.
