Election Commission of Sri Saket Clarifies Rumored Vote Recount in Districts 6-7
The Election Commission of Sri Saket has clarified rumors circulating on social media about a vote recount in Districts 6-7. An online user named 'Vote for Thai, Kom Sakon' posted a message claiming that Districts 6 and 7 were being recounted and that the Pheu Thai Party would win instead of Bhumjaithai Party. The post was widely shared, causing confusion about the election results in Sri Saket Province. Ekarith Phromchai Anant, director of the provincial Election Commission, confirmed that no vote recount has occurred in any district. He explained that vote counting was completed at polling units, verified at district centers, and data was systematically entered into the system. Official results will be finalized after a detailed verification process, with district reports due by Thursday and provincial reports to be submitted to the central office by Friday.
