Nationwide Voting and Referendum Begins, Election Commission Chairman Casts His Vote
The nationwide parliamentary election and referendum began on February 8th, 2024, with a total of 52,922,923 eligible voters across 99,487 polling units. Voters are using two ballots - a green ballot for constituency representatives and a pink ballot for party-list candidates, with a yellow ballot for the referendum. At 8:00 AM, voters began lining up enthusiastically to cast their votes. Election Commission Chairman Narong Glienwarrin visited Polling Unit 12 in Bang Kapi, Bangkok, observing the voting process and encouraging election officials to work meticulously and in accordance with the law. He personally cast his vote at the polling unit, which has 655 registered voters, with his name listed at number 617.
