Royal Decree Strips Ranks from 3 Police Officers, Revokes State Honors

The Royal Gazette published an announcement from the Prime Minister's Office with a royal command to remove ranks from three former police officers under the National Police Act of 2022. The three officers - Police Major Uten Takkino, Police Captain Watsuwat Thiramethset, and Police Lieutenant Panyawachira Chandra - were dismissed from service for severe disciplinary violations and had their various state honors and decorations revoked. Each officer was removed from service on different dates between 2016 and 2021 due to serious misconduct and received orders of dismissal from government service.
