GULF Successfully Secures 60 Billion Baht Loan for Full-Scale Investment

GULF has successfully secured a 60 billion baht loan to develop 27 renewable energy power plant projects with a total contracted electricity production capacity of 939 megawatts. The projects include 15 solar power and solar power with energy storage projects, with a total contracted capacity of 843 megawatts, scheduled for commercial operation between 2024-2026. The total investment value is over 43,000 million baht or approximately 1,300 million US dollars, supported by leading financial institutions both domestically and internationally, with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as the main loan arranger. The projects include 12 completed solar projects (649 megawatts) and 3 projects under construction (194 megawatts). Additionally, GULF is promoting circular economy through 12 industrial waste-to-energy projects with 96 megawatts capacity, planned for commercial operation in 2027. This marks a significant step in GULF's strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and aim for Net Zero Emissions by 2050, while supporting the country's sustainable energy transition.
