Daimilk Partners with Chaiyapharak Dairy Cooperative to Launch 3 Premium Milk Products, Targeting 6 Billion Baht Market
Chaiyapharak Dairy Cooperative has joined forces with Daimilk group to enhance premium milk product value, creating cheese, pure cream, and Greek yogurt to capture a 6 billion baht market and manage excess raw milk supply.
On February 16, 2026, Nirund Multida, Director-General of the Cooperative Promotion Department, led executives and media to visit the Chaiyapharak Agricultural Dairy Cooperative in Chaiyapharak District, Chiang Mai Province. The cooperative was praised as a model organization with comprehensive raw milk management and excellent farm operations, recognized as producing the highest quality raw milk in Thailand, comparable to Hokkaido milk from Japan.
Wichian Sankavee, the cooperative's chairman, revealed they currently produce an average of 94.54 tons of raw milk daily, selling 90 tons to private companies through annual MOUs. Approximately 4.54 tons are used to produce pasteurized school milk distributed in Northern Thailand.
The cooperative currently has about 18,000 dairy cows from 217 members and is preparing to expand production by introducing three new premium products: cheese, pure cream, and Greek yogurt. They plan to invest in a new production facility with advanced German technology, estimated to cost around 2.54 million baht, with Daimilk providing consulting and market access support.
