SLEEK EV Raises 270 Million Baht to Propel Thailand as Electric Motorcycle Hub
SLEEK EV, a Thai electric motorcycle startup, has raised 270 million baht to accelerate technology development and infrastructure, positioning itself to become an electric motorcycle hub in the ASEAN region.
Kantinant Tanweenukul, CEO and co-founder of SLEEK EV, announced raising 8.5 million USD (approximately 270 million baht) from KYMCO Capital, an investment company within KYMCO - Taiwan's largest motorcycle manufacturer and the 6th largest globally, with over 60 years of history and more than 10 million units sold worldwide. The funding aims to expand business and push Thailand towards becoming an ASEAN electric motorcycle center.
