Pheu Thai opened its final campaign rally before the February 8th elections at Thep Hasadin Stadium in Bangkok, aimed at emphasizing key policies and encouraging public support. The party's major candidates included Yossanan Wongswat, Chulaphant Amornvivat, and Suriya Juengruangkit as prime ministerial candidates. Key party figures like Natawut Srisang, Jaturon Chaisang, and Suksit Srijomkwan were also present. Red-shirted supporters arrived early, filling the area around the stadium from the afternoon. Vendors set up red and white tents selling merchandise. Police from Pathumwan station deployed uniformed and plainclothes officers, with K9 units and EOD teams conducting security checks. The rally schedule included introducing parliamentary candidates from Bangkok and surrounding provinces, with main speeches scheduled from 6 PM to 9 PM. The candidates highlighted key campaign promises such as 20-baht all-line transit, affordable housing programs, poverty reduction initiatives, and a lottery receipt project promising to create nine millionaires daily.
