Miw Suvipa, Lampang MP Candidate, Demands Investigation into 7,000 Spoiled Ballots
On February 9, 2024, at 10:00 AM, Suvipa Kusoljung, the People's Party candidate for Lampang's District 2, along with her party team, met with Thongneth Dujai, the local election director, to request an investigation into approximately 7,000 spoiled ballots in the recent election. Thongneth advised the candidate to collect clear evidence of any irregularities or lack of transparency in voting units to formally file a complaint. The party is concerned about the high number of spoiled ballots, which could significantly impact the election results. According to the Election Commission website, Dachai Ekkapataphy from the Kla Tham party received 35,029 votes, while Suvipa Kusoljung received 32,814 votes.
