Thaksin Receives Election Results, Thanks Supporters and Encourages 'Chen Yossanan'

Em and Pong visited Thaksin Shinawatra, revealing that their father thanked everyone and sent encouragement to Chen Yossanan, noting that he has done his best. The visit, which was the 39th since Thaksin's imprisonment, took place on February 9, 2024, at Klong Prem Central Prison in Bangkok. Pinthongtha Shinawatra (Em) and Nattapong Kunakornwong (Pong), accompanied by Thaksin's personal lawyer Winyat Chartmontre, met with Thaksin amid media and red-shirt supporter attention. After the February 8 parliamentary and referendum elections, initial results showed Bhumjaithai Party projected to win 194 parliamentary seats, while Pheu Thai Party was projected to win 76 seats, becoming the third-largest party. During the visit, Pinthongtha and Nattapong spoke briefly with red-shirt supporters, thanking them for their support and receiving a large Vietnamese salak fruit. After the 40-minute visit, Nattapong reported that Thaksin primarily expressed gratitude for everyone's support.
