MHESI Elevates Potential for Over 3,000 SMEs and Startups Across Thailand

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) organized an event on February 12th to launch the 'Frontier Technology Competitiveness Enhancement Project' for the 2026 fiscal year. Prof. Dr. Supachai Patummajakul, the Permanent Secretary, highlighted that Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology will be the central mechanism for developing entrepreneur capabilities, focusing specifically on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as a critical economic foundation. The project aims to apply advanced technologies concretely in business and industrial sectors, supporting SMEs and startups in increasing productivity, reducing costs, and creating added value in the emerging digital economy. Through 12 specialized training courses covering AI applications in production, services, digital business, and strategic decision-making, the initiative seeks to provide practical, in-depth support that goes beyond theoretical training.
