Citizens Observe Election Ballot Collection in Chonburi District 8, Demand New Vote Counting

On February 11, around 30 election observers gathered at the Bang Lamung District Assembly Hall in Chonburi Province to monitor the collection of election ballot boxes. The group closely watched officials preparing to transfer ballots to the Election Commission, with police and volunteer security personnel maintaining strict oversight. Observers attempted to peer through glass windows, occasionally shouting questions and demanding transparency in the ballot handling process. A 23-year-old observer, Ms. Maprang, expressed concerns about inconsistencies in election documents and called for a new vote count. District officials assured transparency and allowed observers to monitor proceedings within legal boundaries.
