Teng Reveals Irregularities: Hundreds of Voting Districts Show Abnormal Invalid and Spoiled Ballots
On February 9, 2024, at the Future Forward Building, Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the People's Party, announced election results and called on the Election Commission to investigate voting irregularities. The party estimates winning approximately 88 constituency seats and over 30 party-list seats, pending final confirmation. Notable irregularities were found in several districts, such as Lampang District 2 with over 7,000 invalid ballots and a narrow margin of around 2,000 votes, and Khon Kaen District 3, where the victory margin was just hundreds of votes with suspiciously high numbers of invalid and questionable ballots. The party is prepared to request vote recounts in these areas. Nattapong emphasized the party's commitment to transparency and protecting every citizen's vote, urging people to report any election irregularities through official channels.
