Queen Arrives in Italy to Witness 2026 Winter Olympics

Her Majesty arrived in Italy on February 18, 2026, in her role as Women's Ice Hockey Ambassador for the International Ice Hockey Federation, to witness the medal round competitions at the Winter Olympics in Milan. This follows an invitation from Luc Tardif, president of the International Ice Hockey Federation. The federation requested Her Majesty's patronage in 2023, acknowledging her generous support and participation in ice hockey, which has been particularly significant for women's ice hockey in Thailand, Asia, and internationally. Her Majesty will be visiting Italy from February 18 to 23, 2026.
