Police Forensic Office Launches Training Program and Establishes 'Forensic Science Innovation and Knowledge Center'
The Police Forensic Office opened a training program to develop personnel capabilities and establish a 'Forensic Science Innovation and Knowledge Center' to elevate forensic evidence work to international standards. On Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 9:30 AM, Police Lieutenant General Aticha Pao-in, Commander of the Police Forensic Office, led the opening ceremony at the Training and Welfare Personnel Development Center of the National Police Office. High-level administrators from the Police Forensic Office, along with Associate Professor Dr. Tula Judharasaka, Dean of the Faculty of Science at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, participated in the event. The establishment of this Forensic Science Innovation and Knowledge Center is a critical step in developing the country's forensic evidence work, particularly amid complex criminal situations and rapid technological changes. The center will serve as a central hub for developing knowledge, research, technology, and forensic science innovations, facilitating knowledge transfer and exchange to enhance personnel capabilities in applying modern technologies efficiently, accurately, and in line with international standards. The training project aims to build and enhance innovation and knowledge management skills for Police Forensic Office personnel, with the goal of improving evidence examination quality, supporting investigations, and sustainably building public confidence in the justice process.
