Phanumast explained their purpose was to clarify the facts about a previously circulated online video showing vote canvassers distributing money openly. He emphasized that the villager who recorded the clip did so with the intention of ensuring a transparent election and did not receive any money. Phanumast also handed over the mobile phone used to record the video as evidence and expressed concerns about safety, noting unknown vehicles had been circling and parking near the witness's home. He requested protective measures from local authorities to ensure the witness's security.
