Major Beach Tekball National Championship Set for February 19-21 at Jomtien Beach

The most significant tekball sports event in Thailand is set to unfold, bringing together top athletes from across the country and national team players. The Beach Tekball National Championship for 2024 will serve as a crucial platform for athletes to prepare for the 6th Asian Beach Games. The event will feature championships in three categories and will be held at Jomtien Beach in Pattaya, Chonburi Province. General Ronnachai Manchusontornkul, President of the Thai Tekball Association, emphasized that this championship is a critical stage for elevating beach tekball standards and expanding the sport's popularity. The tournament is not only an opportunity for Thai sports fans to experience seaside competition and witness national team athletes' skills but also a crucial platform for discovering new talented athletes who could become future national team representatives. The association aims to use this national championship as both a selection ground and preparation stage for international competitions, particularly the 6th Asian Beach Games in Sanya, China, from April 22-30, 2024. The event will feature men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles categories, and entry is free for spectators.
