In the 2023 election for areas previously held by the former Move Forward Party or current People's Party, covering 8 provinces including Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Rayong, Trat, Chanthaburi, and Phuket, the unofficial results as of February 8, 2024 at 01:15 AM reveal the following: The People's Party maintained control in only 2 provinces - Nonthaburi and Samut Songkhram. They gained two new provinces: Bangkok (winning all 33 districts) and Lamphun (2 districts). In Samut Prakan, they won 7 districts but lost 1 to the Bhumjaithai Party. Samut Sakhon saw 2 district wins with 2 lost to Bhumjaithai, Rayong won 3 districts but lost 1 each to Bhumjaithai and Democrat Party, Trat lost 1 district to Bhumjaithai, Chanthaburi lost all 3 districts to Bhumjaithai, and Phuket won 2 districts but lost 1 to the Kla Party.
