Thai Representative! Dr. Gae Presents Mascot to Athletes at Winter Olympics

Dr. Suwanna Silapacha, a commissioner of the International Skating Union (ISU), represented Thailand by presenting the mascot to male athletes in the 1000-meter Shorttrack Speed Skating event at the Winter Olympic Games Milano Cortina 2026. In the event, Jens van 't Wout from the Netherlands won the gold medal with a time of 1:24.537. Dr. Suwanna was also honored to be one of the representatives presenting mascot dolls to the three medal-winning athletes. She also served as an International Federation Delegate for the Shorttrack Speed Skating competition. The Winter Olympic Games 2026 in Milano Cortina began on February 6 and will continue until February 22.
