Sister-in-Law of 'Tank' Fights for Historic Flyweight Championship Title
The RWS event on Saturday, February 7th, made an important announcement during the live broadcast, officially opening a new women's flyweight 112-pound division. The championship fight to determine the first queen of the division will be between Marie Ruumet, a 26-year-old fighter from Estonia and fan favorite from the northern region, and Saidaneya Lukthaisand, a 21-year-old and the 15th child of a famous family, who is also the sister-in-law of 'Tank' Jitmueangnon. Previously, the Lukthaisand family has had three championship opportunities, including Aida Lukthaisand (Tank's wife), Ngao Phra Jan Lukthaisand, and most recently Duang Dao Noi Lukthaisand, who lost to Mongkut Phet Phet Praw Fa in mid-2025. This makes Saidaneya the fourth family member to chase making history. Marie herself is no ordinary fighter, having previously competed for the 118-pound women's bantamweight title. Currently ranking first in her division, she has clearly declared her intention to win this belt and etch her country's name in history. On Saturday, February 28th, fans will witness who will become the first queen of the women's flyweight division.
