The University of Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) has reinforced its position as a leading educational institution in business and innovation by hosting administrators and faculty from the National Defense Academic Institute to showcase its full-scale implementation of AI technology in teaching and organizational management. After successfully implementing an AI Integrated Curriculum across all programs in the past year, the university has achieved significant milestones in technological transformation. Assistant Professor Dr. Chatchai Wangwiwatana, Vice President of Information Technology, revealed that the heart of transformation lies not just in technology, but in people. Over the past year, 100% of faculty have been trained in AI and academic ethics, with 87% receiving Google AI Educator certification, demonstrating their international capability to effectively teach and develop AI-ready students. Through strategic partnerships with technology giants Microsoft and Huawei, UTCC has developed innovative AI systems like JAR-VIS, a multimodal AI assistant available 24/7, and a specialized internal ChatGPT system. The university has positioned itself not just as a user but as a creator of AI technology, developing in-house solutions that transform complex tasks and enhance educational experiences.
