TCEB Unveils Strategic Plan to Elevate Thailand's Industry Strengths to National and Regional Levels
TCEB is pushing forward to drive the Thai MICE industry, launching an annual plan using Brand Insights to transform Thailand's strengths into regional selling points with a 10% growth target. Supawan Teerarat, Director of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), outlined the 2026 operational direction, setting a vision for Thailand to become a global MICE leader as the 'Global-Asia's Trusted Gateway'. The organization aims to adjust its 'TCEB Go' strategy to be more precise, focusing on promoting Thailand's industry strengths internationally, integrating ESG principles into MICE events, elevating sustainability standards, and continuously developing industry capabilities. TCEB is targeting growth of 29.4 million MICE travelers, with 28.2 million domestic and 1.2 million international travelers, expecting total revenue of 163,000 million baht to increase the industry's GDP contribution to 1.77%.
