Gen. Rangsi Ready to Join Government, Target Scammers and Border Issues

Gen. Rangsi Gitiyansap, leader of the Setthakit Party, stated on February 11, 2024 that the party is fully prepared to work in national administration and tackle critical national issues including economy, national security, and transnational crime. Specifically, he aims to combat call center gangs, scammers, and address Thailand-Cambodia border problems. If assigned to the government, he is ready to immediately tackle these challenges. The party emphasizes wanting concrete problem-solving rather than symbolic power, focusing on creating public confidence in safety and fairness. Despite having only 3 MPs, they are united and decision-making is clearly under the party leader's framework. Rangsi deliberately placed himself 10th on the party list to make space for younger politicians and avoid monopolizing political positions.
