Thammanat Unfazed by Pheu Thai's Government Formation Formula, Says Nothing is Certain
Major General Thammanat Prompao, advisor to Kla Party, stated that government formation before the Election Commission's official vote count is unlikely due to ongoing issues in multiple areas. The Election Commission is expected to announce results in early April, with several polling units still disputing vote counting and having contested ballots.
Thammanat stressed the importance of listening to public voices and warned that unresolved issues could potentially escalate into nationwide problems. He acknowledged significant errors, even in his home province of Phayao, and urged the Election Commission to ensure transparency.
When asked about Pheu Thai Party's meeting with smaller political parties, he emphasized that nothing is certain and no party's exact MP count is confirmed. He currently holds 58 MP seats and remains confident, stating that his political strategy is 'extraordinary' and that government formation calculations are still uncertain, even regarding the traditional Thai flag colors of blue, white, and red.
