Indy Party Sympathizes with Citizens, Urges Prompt Compensation for Floods, Earthquake, and Border Incidents
Indy Party leader Kotchaporn Weroj, known as 'Madam Yok', is calling on the government to urgently release compensation funds for flood victims, COVID-19 insurance claims ('Jao Jai Jop'), earthquake damage, and border conflict-related issues. She emphasized that these are not optional payments, but obligations the state must fulfill. Currently, there are still outstanding insurance debts of over 70,000 million baht from the original 80,000 million. Weroj argues that the government has central budget funds available for emergency citizen support and should expedite these payments. As a 28-year volunteer organization, the Indy Party has been closely supporting citizens through various challenges, particularly highlighting the unresolved compensation for border soldiers protecting national sovereignty. The party also recommends that the Non-Life Insurance Fund consider increasing compensation payment frequencies to restore public confidence in insurance systems.
