Majority of Thai People Want New Constitution, NIDA Poll Reveals

NIDA Poll revealed a survey showing that 54.68% of Thai people nationwide support having a new constitution, while 31.54% do not support it. The poll was conducted on February 8, 2024, by the NIDA Poll Opinion Center at the National Institute of Development Administration. The survey was carried out between January 31 and February 6, 2024, covering 2,895 sample units of citizens aged 18 and above with voting rights, distributed across regions, education levels, occupations, and incomes. The sampling used multi-stage probability sampling methods via telephone interviews, with a confidence level of 97.0% and a margin of error not exceeding 0.05.
