Sontinya Agrees with Election Commission's 2-Day Review, Warns of Party Dissolution Risk
Political activist Sontinya Sawadee visited the Election Commission on February 11th to submit a complaint letter, bringing evidence from the commission's previous two-day response regarding election time extension requests. Sontinya emphasized the scale of the national election, which involved nearly 100,000 polling units, over 52 million eligible voters, and cost more than 8.7 billion baht. He supports the Election Commission's thorough investigation, particularly in Chonburi's District 1, and urged political parties to respect legal procedures. Sontinya believes only 18-20 polling units out of nearly 100,000 have potential issues, and he expects the commission to disqualify 30-50 parliamentary candidates within the next 60 days.
