Michael Carrick, the interim manager of Manchester United, has won the Premier League Manager of the Month award for January as expected, after guiding the 'Red Devils' to victories over Manchester City and Arsenal during the month. Carrick took over the team from Ruben Amorim in mid-January and delivered impressive performances, including a 2-0 home win against Manchester City and a 3-2 away victory against Arsenal. Due to the team's outstanding form, Carrick claimed his first-ever Manager of the Month award. At 44 years old, he is one of only seven interim managers to receive this honor and the second Manchester United manager to win it, following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in January 2019.
