Chonburi District 1 Protesters Continue Overnight Ballot Box Vigil

At 8:40 AM on February 11, 2024, at the badminton gymnasium in Chonburi Municipal Town, mass groups and various news reporters continued their overnight vigil at the problematic Ballot Box 1, which has transparency concerns. Police in and out of uniform were present to provide security and assistance. Some groups distributed breakfast boxes to people who had stayed overnight guarding the ballot boxes. Surrounding vehicles displayed 'Recount' signs, and images of former Deputy Prime Minister Suchart Chomklin were posted on metal barriers. A citizen named Ms. Pornsuda, who stayed overnight, described tossing and turning but managing some sleep, and appealed to the Election Commission to recount votes for transparency, stating that even if her side loses, she wants a clear result.
