Police Spot Suspicious Driver, Discover 2.7 Million Methamphetamine Tablets During Lunch Stop
On February 4th at 10:30 AM, at the 'Pad Thai Kon Puan' restaurant in Don Dueng Subdistrict, Lopburi Province, Police Lieutenant Perawat Buntaem and his team arrested Chuchat, 49, with a modified Toyota pickup truck containing 2,750,000 methamphetamine tablets. Lt. Perawat reported that they had intelligence about a drug trafficking gang from Northern Thailand entering the area. After observing the vehicle driving suspiciously multiple times, officers intercepted the driver at the restaurant. Chuchat confessed that he was ordered to deliver the drugs to Chai Nat province and nearby areas. Authorities will continue investigating to track down other individuals involved in the drug trafficking operation.
