Irregularities included an unusually high number of spoiled ballots, excess ballots, and vote counts exceeding the number of registered voters in some districts, leading to protests in multiple election areas and provinces demanding a recount. The commission has failed to provide clear explanations, with concerns ranging from potential vote-buying to improper use of state power. Specific allegations include unusual financial transactions by the Pheu Thai Party, with the Bank of Thailand detecting abnormal cash withdrawals during the election period, and accusations by the Prachanart Party of intimidation and improper interference by state officials. These unresolved issues have created significant public dissatisfaction, with the Election Commission's seven members remaining silent and only providing vague statements through their secretariat. The situation is eroding public confidence in the electoral process.
