General Decha Hemkrasei announced that the Thai national cycling team has achieved an impressive result at the 2026 Asian Road Cycling Championship held from February 5-11 in Saudi Arabia. The team won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal. Gold medals were secured by Narongdet Saengchay in the Men's 35-39 Master Time Trial (20 km) and Lt. Col. Chanpeng Nontasin in the Women's 40-44 Master Time Trial (15.8 km). Chanpeng won her second consecutive championship after her previous year's victory. Coach Wisut Kasiyapat, the team manager, reported the team's excellent performance, with other cyclists also performing well in various age categories. General Decha emphasized that the Thai national cycling team continues to make the country proud by consistently performing above other ASEAN nations.
