Sarayuth Reveals Prachanart Party Set to Hold Major Meeting, Potentially Replacing Entire Executive Board
Sarayuth Jai Lek, Secretary-General of the Prachanart Party, discussed the party's future direction on February 11th at the New Future building. He revealed plans for a party-wide meeting in March-April, including a seminar for 500 potential MPs. The party is considering a complete replacement of its executive board, with a focus on addressing election issues. Sarayuth is prepared to resign if the party fails to secure 200 MPs. He emphasized the need for a new secretary-general who can dedicate full-time efforts to party management. There's a possibility that Parit Wacharasin, the party's spokesperson, could become the new party leader if Nattapong Ruangpanyawut steps back. Sarayuth defended the current leadership, praising Nattapong's management skills despite recent criticism from former MP Thitisana Chunhawan. He believes the party has grown quickly from 80 to 150 members and remains confident in its overall strength.
