Liam Rosenior Criticizes Arsenal for Lack of Respect Towards Chelsea
Liam Rosenior, manager of Chelsea in the English Premier League, criticized rival Arsenal for showing a lack of respect during the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg on February 3rd. During the pre-game warm-up, Rosenior angrily shouted at Arsenal players to stay on their half of the field and not cross into Chelsea's side. Arsenal ultimately won the home match 1-0, securing a 4-2 aggregate victory.
Rosenior stated, "Each team should have their own half during warm-up. I never told my team to cross to the opposite side, and I think what they did was wrong. They disrupted our warm-up, and at that moment, I felt my team was not being respected."
Additionally, Rosenior discussed key player Cole Palmer, who is dealing with a chronic groin injury that has affected his playing time. He admitted that Palmer's readiness must be evaluated on a match-by-match basis. "Currently, there's no clear timeline for when he'll be fully recovered. We must assess him game by game and ensure he can play at a level necessary to help us win," Rosenior said.
