Bangkok Christian Hospital Moves Forward with New 3.65 Billion Baht Building to Become a Smart Hospital
Bangkok Christian Hospital signed a contract for the construction of the Doctor Prasong Chairat Building with Sang Fha Construction Company, the winning bidder, with a budget of 3,650 million baht. Preparations for construction will begin immediately after contract signing, with expected completion in 2028.
After providing medical services since 1949, the hospital, trusted for over 76 years, announced a significant upgrade to its medical services. Led by Pongsathorn Kunanusorn, the hospital's board chairman, the project aims to replace the existing building and expand capacity for future growth.
The new building is a 21-story concrete structure with four underground levels, covering over 87,000 square meters. Designed for maximum efficiency, it will incorporate advanced technology to become a Smart Hospital. Key features include 185 outpatient rooms, capacity for 442 inpatient beds, 57 ICU/CCU beds, and emergency elevators connecting ER, OR, Cath Lab, and ICU.
The project will also expand specialized centers, increasing operating rooms to 17 and expanding dialysis and endoscopy centers to maximize patient care. Approved by the Church Council of Thailand, foundation work began in August 2025, with full completion expected in September 2028.
