Thammanat Hopes for Additional MPs, Possibly Reaching 60 Seats; Denies Lunch Meeting with Anutin

Thammanat Phromphao, chairman of the Kla Party's advisory board, spoke about unofficial election vote counts where the party currently has 58 MPs. He remains hopeful of gaining more seats, as current vote counts are still unstable with several close constituencies. The party has requested the Election Commission to recount votes, particularly in Roi Et province and 2-3 other areas. Regarding rumors of a lunch meeting with Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, Thammanat denied this, stating no one has contacted him about government formation details. He expects potential initial discussions might occur after the Cabinet meeting on February 10th, but will wait for official coordination from leading parties.
