Pheu Thai Party Thanks Citizens as Referendum Approval Surpasses 20 Million Votes, Paving Way for New Constitution

The Pheu Thai Party's referendum campaign committee, led by Chaturon Chaisang and Chusak Siringan, announced the referendum results at 11:25 AM on February 12, 2026, at the party headquarters. Chaturon stated that the Pheu Thai Party has consistently worked to create a new constitution, establishing a referendum communication committee since December 19, 2023. With 94% of votes counted, nearly 19.9 million votes support the constitutional revision, with expectations of exceeding 20 million votes when the count is complete.
