"Dream City" Festival Sparks Urban Human Development, Boosting Children's Brain Skills
The "Dream City: EF Dream City Creating People" festival is a major national event that marks a new era with the goal of developing Executive Function (EF) skills for young children. The event aims to elevate learning quality and life skills, preparing children to handle social changes rationally. This initiative is part of Bangkok's mission to become a "world-class kindergarten city" and has attracted significant interest from parents, teachers, and guardians. The festival was a collaboration between Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), Dow Thailand, and leading partner networks including Love Learning Institute, National Institute for Child and Family Development, Mahidol University, National Science Museum, and several other allies committed to building quality citizenship through sustainable EF skill development. The event was highly successful, with over 6,700 participants over four days (January 22-25), reflecting Thai society's growing recognition of the importance of developing frontal brain skills from an early age to help children control emotions, think analytically, and creatively solve problems.
