Boy Kosiyapong Entrusts Sony Music Publishing Thailand with Music Rights for 3 Years

Renowned Thai songwriter and producer Boy Kosiyapong has signed an important collaboration agreement with Sony Music Publishing Thailand to officially manage and administer his music copyrights. The partnership aims to systematically manage rights with international standards and expand opportunities for Thai songs and songwriters to grow internationally. In the agreement, Boy will entrust his musical composition rights (lyrics and melody) to Sony for three years. He explains that music typically involves two rights: sound recordings and musical compositions. Sony will help manage the composition rights, which can generate additional income through covers and live performances. This is a trial collaboration to test their working chemistry, with the official contract becoming active in March, though Sony has been collecting data since September of the previous year.
